Overview

Dixie is a Florence-based fashion brand known for its retro-inspired collections and meticulous attention to detail. Designed and produced entirely in Italy, the brand brings together classic craftsmanship and fast-fashion agility.

The task was to art-direct two capsule collections that spoke to the everyday woman through imagery that felt spontaneous, feminine, and real.

Hotel Amour

Hotel Amour is an ode to friendship and the art of escape. The concept followed two women on a playful trip to Rome — a spontaneous getaway that captures the laughter, intimacy, and freedom of shared moments.

The visual direction drew inspiration from vintage hotel aesthetics and cinematic storytelling. Soft morning light, room service trays, and whispered secrets behind half-closed doors became metaphors for joy and connection. Every frame was composed to feel candid and alive, as if the viewer stumbled upon a private story unfolding.

The result is a series of images that feel effortlessly feminine and full of life. Hotel Amour celebrates friendship as the truest form of romance — playful, loyal, and endlessly inspiring.

Snapshots in Rome

Snapshots in Rome reimagines the independent woman as both muse and storyteller. The collection embraces the city’s duality (its ancient quiet and its modern pulse) through a lens of nostalgia and self-possession.

The creative direction leaned into natural light, vintage tones, and cinematic compositions. Textures of stone, silk, and shadow formed the visual rhythm of the story. The model moves through Roman streets with quiet confidence, her wardrobe a dialogue between past and present.

Every shot was crafted to evoke warmth, intimacy, and timeless charm. The campaign speaks to women who see style as self-expression — not perfection.
